Summer Time

The three monkeys!

The Orange Butterfly!

Miss Priss

Oh my, lots has happened since my last blog.

School ended and I ended it with an ear infection and believe it or not, it is Aug. 1st and I am still fighting that battle!

We spent a week at the beach with the Darleys and had so much fun with the kids. The boys really enjoyed the beach and Anna Claire really enjoyed the beach for the first time. She loved the water and digging in the sand. We took lots of pictures but boy was it hot. We also took the kids to the alligator farm and they were enthralled with those animals.

Martha and Chris gave Charles and I tickets to "One, the Show". It was great and the comedian
was fantastic. He is sooooo funny. We highly recommend this show if you are at/near the Alabama Theater or O-bama Theater as the comedian said - since they applied for the stimulus money!

The boys came and spent several days with us. They wanted to stay and ride in MiMi's car. We had fun days needless to say. Melinda and I took them to see the Blooming Butterflies at the Kid's Museum. They were a big hit, especially when we found the orange one! Both boys had to use MiMi's camera to take pictures of this butterfly. We got lot's of shots of the wall!

The kids wait patiently for Pops and Bet-Bet to come. "Pops always brings us chocolate!" Mom and dad really enjoy being around the kids. The boys love going on walks with Pops to see the horses that live down from us.

While I was in Ga. the first part of the summer, I made skirts for the boy's beds. They thought that was fun. Don't know why I thought I could sew with three kids wrapped around my neck.

Have finally joined face book and that has been fun as well as entertaining. It is a neat way to keep up with friends and what is happening in their lives. Along with this new technology is twitter which I have not gotten involved in but also the rage of texting. My question, why don't you just pick up the phone and call that person? Guess I am show what an "ole foggie" I am. In a few years, no one will be speaking to each other. We will just be texting! Guess we will have to add "how to talk to people" to the curriculum in schools.

Here are a few pics. to show you what we have been up to. Enjoy
